The wait is finally over. After more than two years serving customers out of a parking lot, the iconic San Pedro Fish Market reopened its beloved back deck, welcoming guests to once again eat right on the water.

Owner Henry Ungaro called the moment a true return to form for the restaurant, which has been a staple on the San Pedro waterfront for nearly 70 years.

“We’re back on our world-famous back deck with about 1,500 seats,” Ungaro said. “We’ve been open in a parking lot, but this is really reopening who we are and getting back to this guest experience.”
