The Predators added a versatile depth player Wednesday, claiming forward Tyson Jost off waivers from the Carolina Hurricanes.
In addition, the Preds reassigned prospect forward Reid Schaefer to Milwaukee of the American Hockey League.
Nashville also placed veteran defenseman Andreas Englund on waivers . And if he clears, Englund would be assigned to Milwaukee.
The moves leave the Predators with a training camp roster of 27 players — 16 forwards, nine defensemen and two goalies.
Nashville must trim its opening-night roster to at least 23 by Oct. 6 at 4 p.m., three days before the Predators drop the puck on the 2025-26 season Oct. 9 against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
