We've got a familiar weather pattern settling in for our region, with high pressure set to keep us dry and unseasonably warm through the weekend.

It's certainly feeling more like late summer than early October for many of us! We are monitoring the conditions closely, and by "warm," we mean temperatures are running about 6 to 12 degrees above normal, and we don't see that changing much for the next few days. Enjoy this comfortable, dry stretch while it lasts.

Looking ahead to early next week, our models are hinting at a few changes. A weak disturbance might nudge a few showers into the area on Monday, particularly in western Kentucky.
