FARGO — First-year North Dakota State men’s golf coach Ekren Miller hasn’t needed much time to make an impression.

His Bison have won two of the first three tournaments this season and on Wednesday, NDSU hosted Summit League rival North Dakota in a two-day dual meet that concludes Thursday at King's Walk in Grand Forks.

Miller took over the Bison program this summer after 15 seasons as head coach at Bemidji State.

So far this season, the Bison topped the 15-team field at The Metropolis in New York and the 11-team Bluejay Invitational in Omaha, Nebraska to kick off the season. They most recently finished fourth at the Zach Johnson Invitational in Iowa.
