SUPERIOR, Wis.– October represents domestic violence awareness month, and this was addressed today in a proclamation in Superior.

This year’s theme is ‘Survivors Always’, emphasizing community support surrounding domestic violence.

The event began with Troy House of Superior, giving a heartfelt opening song.

Superior mayor Jim Paine, for his 9th year, brought awareness, acknowledgement, and support for this cause.
