DUMAS, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Dumas Demons are off to a strong start this season, fueled by the steady play from junior quarterback Colton Mills, the leadership of senior wide receiver Blake Robinson, and the steady hand of head coach Aaron Dunham.

Dumas sits at 4-1 after five weeks, with its lone loss coming in a narrow setback to Canadian that ended at the three-yard line. Dunham said the early season has been defined by unity and resilience.

“Our team camaraderie and just our love for one another that’s been one of our focuses,” Dunham said. “We started the year with accountability, love and toughness as our motto, and I think that’s a reason for our success so far.”
