HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Hawaii Department of Transportation is advising travelers flying out of Daniel K. Inouye International Airport to arrive early.
HDOT sent an advisory Wednesday around 12:30 p.m., saying, “If you are departing from terminal 1 with baggage, please arrive two hours prior to your scheduled departure time.”
They are experiencing baggage screening delays.
Terminal 1 is where Hawaiian Airlines flights depart and arrive.
HDOT will send an update when normal operations are restored.
