GLENDIVE − Dawson Community College's Destiny Thompson garnered defensive player of the week honors in volleyball by the Mon-Dak Athletic Conference, the conference announced on Wednesday.

Thompson, a 5-foot-7 sophomore outside hitter, collected 29 digs, 26 kills and four aces while the Buccaneers went 1-1.

Miles CC's Zeason Schaffer named MonDak Conference offensive player of the week

Thompson is second on the team in kills (121) and digs (113) with a team-high 20 aces through 14 matches for DCC (3-11, 1-4 Mon-Dak).
