Police are investigating after multiple shots were fired outside Ross Park Mall on Tuesday night.

Ross Township Deputy Police Chief Brian Kohlhepp told Pittsburgh's Action News 4 that officers were called to the mall at 7:55 p.m. following reports of gunshots being fired.

Kohlhepp said gunfire was exchanged between people in the parking lot between Dick's House of Sport and Nordstrom. An official number of those involved was not immediately made clear.

Kohlhepp said one person is believed to have been injured in the shooting and was later taken to the hospital. A vehicle also appeared to have sustained damage.
