PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Rhode Island leaders agree the Washington Bridge forensic audit warrants another oversight hearing, but so far they don't see eye-to-eye on how it should play out.

Two days after legislative leaders announced they would hold an oversight hearing to examine the Washington Bridge failure, Gov. Dan McKee on Wednesday sent a letter urging them to do so.

"My office has remained steadfast in its commitment to transparency on this issue, and we fully welcome the opportunity to participate in such proceedings," McKee wrote to the leaders.
