CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) - The Cleveland Heights law director has been reinstated, the FOX 8 I-Team learned.

Interim Mayor Tony Cuda, who was sworn into office on Wednesday, told the I-Team that William Hanna will return to work on Thursday. Council President Gail Larson also confirmed the reinstatement.

The news comes just one day after then-Mayor Kahlil Seren fired the law director in one of his last acts as mayor before stepping down.

The city initially released a lengthy termination letter that read, in part:
