Jack Hughes took himself out to the ballpark.

The New Jersey Devils forward attended Game 2 of the AL Wild Card between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx on Wednesday.

Cameras showed Hughes rocking a Yankees hat as he chatted with teammate Johnathan Kovacevic .

Earlier in the day, the Chicago Blackhawks also enjoyed an afternoon of wild card baseball. Connor Bedard , Nick Foligno and Frank Nazar cheered on the Chicago Cubs against the San Diego Padres in Game 2 of the NL Wild Card at Wrigley Field.

The trio held up “W” blue rally towels and cheered as the camera panned to them.

Former Blackhawks star Chris Chelios was also in attendance.

Talk about a home run of a day.
