Oklahoma’s QB John Mateer played a crucial role in securing the win and keeping the playoff chances alive. After the game, it was reported that Mateer injured his wrist in the first quarter of the game. Despite injury, he finished the game passing 271 yards and scored a 9-yard touchdown run for a 24-17 win over Auburn.
