Erling Haaland slammed Manchester City's second-half display against Monaco and labelled it "unnecessary" after they conceded a late penalty to draw with the French side.
Haaland scored two first-half goals, either side of a stunning Jordan Teze strike, and the Blues caused Monaco countless problems in the first 45 minutes.
But they took their foot off the gas after the break and failed to go and kill the game off, paying the price when Monaco were awarded a penalty on VAR review for a high foot by Nico Gonzalez on Eric Dier.
Centre-back Dier took the penalty to earn the hosts a point and Haaland was furious at what he had seen from his side after the interval.
