Monday’s scheduled sold-out Detroit concert by hit rapper NBA YoungBoy has been canceled, Little Caesars Arena announced Wednesday (Oct. 1).

In an evening media blast and direct message to ticketholders, the venue cited “unforeseen circumstances.” An LCA spokesperson contacted by the Free Press declined to elaborate on the venue's statement.

The Detroit cancellation comes a week after YoungBoy’s Chicago arena show was abruptly scrubbed as the Louisiana rapper tours in support of his summer album “MASA.”

Chicago news media pointed out the United Center cancellation came amid an ongoing beef between NBA YoungBoy and local rapper Lil Durk.
