New Indiana coach Darian DeVries acknowledged Tuesday that his team is dealing with relatively significant injury concerns as it gets preseason practice underway.
Four Hoosiers – guards Jason Drake, Aleksa Ristic and Jasai Miles and forward Josh Harris – were sidelined for the open practice the media was permitted to watch at Assembly Hall.
Miles' absence was because of an illness, DeVries said, but the other three are dealing with injury issues that are keeping them off their feet. Ristic, a freshman from Serbia, was on crutches while Harris, a sophomore transfer from North Florida, was in a boot.
