Collingwood veteran Jamie Elliott has rejected rival interest, committing his future to the Magpies with a fresh deal.

Elliott put pen to paper on a two-year extension, locking the free agent into Collingwood until the end of the 2027 season.

The Suns came hard, pushing with a lucrative three-year offer to entice the forward to move north. In response, Collingwood upped its offer to around $650,000 a season.

The full agreement is also believed to include a conditional third-year trigger or a future coaching component for the third year.
