ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A proposed development near Piedmont Hospital in Newnan could include an amusement park, according to documents.

The 42-acre development would be at Poplar Road and the Newnan Crossing bypass. It would include two hotels, shopping, dining, townhomes and what’s listed as 13 acres of outdoor amusement.

The development would be next to Piedmont Hospital.

According to the county, no permits have been issued yet.
