CHEYENNE — An airman assigned to the 90th Missile Security Forces Squadron at F.E. Warren Air Force Base died Tuesday following an incident in Fort Collins, Colorado, Air Force officials confirmed Wednesday morning.

At approximately 2:22 a.m., officers with the Fort Collins Police Services (FCPS) received a report of a shooting in the 100 block of West Fairway Lane in Fort Collins. They arrived to find the airman deceased and another person in need of transport to a local hospital.

The status of the second person has not been released by law enforcement.
