#1 Seneca Valley (9-2-2, 6-0-0) was able to clinch its section in the perfect way as the Raiders went on the road to knock off #2 Pine-Richland (11-2-1, 4-2-1) thanks to a goal from Cassie Leonard in the second half.
Head coach Mark Perry knew that pulling off a double against the Rams was never going to be an easy accomplishment. “They’re senior-dominated, they’ve got five or six girls going to Division One. They’ve only given up four goals this season, and two of them are to us.”
