Following two straight weeks of top-20 showdowns, the Big Ten is focusing on the darkhorses and longshots that have conference goals still in front of them.

Washington, which suffered its first loss of the season last week against No. 1 Ohio State, is set to take the long haul to Maryland to face the surprisingly undefeated Terrapins. While not immediately thought of when discussing playoff contenders, a 5-0 start for Maryland would be hard to ignore with ranked teams on the schedule not arriving until November.
