Merriam-Webster marks a milestone with the upcoming release of their all new Collegiate Dictionary, the Twelfth Edition

The dictionary will be the first of its kind from the company in 20 years

Merriam-Webster is putting out a new dictionary, and it’s been decades in the making!

For the first time in 20 years, the company that publishes reference books and is mostly known for its dictionaries, is releasing a brand new edition of its iconic Collegiate Dictionary.

“Our website receives over a billion visits per year,” Greg Barlow, president of Merriam-Webster, said in a statement shared with PEOPLE.
