The Donia Human Rights Center held a panel at the Michigan League Wednesday noon to discuss the hazards of reporting on human rights abuses, featuring two Knight-Wallace Fellows — journalists from around the globe pursuing a year-long program at the Wallace House Center for Journalists — talking about their experiences with reporting on international human rights abuses.

This year’s Fellows included Tenzin Pema, Tibetan journalist and former director of Radio Free Asia and Clavel Rangel Jiménez, a Venezuelan journalist and co-founder of the Network of Journalists from the Venezuelan Amazon. The conversation was moderated by Lynette Clemetson, director of the Wallace House Center for Journalists.
