LOS ANGELES, Ca. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The Cincinnati Reds were eliminated from the playoffs after an 8-4 loss to the Dodgers in Game 2 on Thursday night, following a 10-5 defeat in Game 1 on Wednesday.
The Dodgers held a narrow 3-2 lead in the fifth inning, but broke the game open with a four-run surge in the sixth. Mookie Betts dominated LA’s offense, tying a Dodgers postseason record with three doubles.
Cincinnati has failed to win a playoff series since 1995.
