People in the country illegally traveling on a major interstate were taken into custody while crossing into Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and ICE recently held a four-day operation on Interstate-40 near the Texas border, arresting over 100 undocumented people.

Troopers arrested 120 illegal immigrants and said most of them were driving large commercial vehicles without proper documentation.

A port of entry in Western Oklahoma on I-40 set the stage for "Operation Guardian" last week.

"Every commercial motor vehicle that enters the state has to enter at that port of entry," said Tim Tipton, DPS Commissioner.
