Nagpur: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat expressed concern over regime changes in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal, saying that violent public uprisings in these countries could pose a risk for India.
“The forces wanting to create such disturbances in Bharat are active both inside and outside the country,” Dr Bhagwat said during the RSS centenary celebrations in Nagpur on Vijayadashami.
He stressed the need to strengthen law and justice, which he said were once influenced by Maoist ideology.
“The extremist Naxalist movement has largely been brought under control due to firm government action and public awareness about the hollowness of their ideology and cruelty. A comprehensive plan is required to ensure justice, development, goodwill, empathy, and harmony in these regions,” he said.
