Josh Shapiro remains popular across the aisle, while John Fetterman’s job performance is more appealing to Republicans than to his own party. Neither side of the political divide knows enough about Stacy Garrity to say whether they like her or not.
Those are the topline findings from a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday and conducted last week, surveying 1,579 Pennsylvania voters on their attitudes heading into the 2026 and 2028 election cycles.
Consistent with other recent polls, the Quinnipiac data found that Shapiro, Pa.’s Democratic governor, continues to enjoy broad-based approval, with 60% of poll respondents saying they approve of how he’s handling his job.
