In Haridwar, a pregnant woman was forced to give birth to her child on the hospital floor after the staff allegedly refused to help.

The woman, belonging to a poor family, was allegedly refused admission to the hospital late Tuesday night. According to her family members, the on-duty doctor denied treatment, saying delivery would not be conducted there.

The woman, who had come to the hospital at 9:30 pm, was left writhing in pain on the hospital floor, ultimately giving birth at 1:30 am in full public view while no medical assistance was provided.
