A Sydney rapper who allegedly gunned down an underworld figure at a Surry Hills service station last year flew to Kuala Lumpur six weeks after the killing.
An arrest warrant for Harley Johan, a 31-year-old also known by the rap name “YC Ewzy”, was issued in September for the murder of Nedal Acherkouk.
Confronting CCTV allegedly shows Johan, wearing a black cape, a mask and gloves, running through the forecourt of the Cleveland Street BP as he unleashes a hail of bullets on Acherkouk, who had just eaten dinner at a nearby Turkish restaurant.
In the vision, a man wearing a cape, who police say is Johan, raises his pistol and fires three rapid shots at point-blank range into the car through the driver’s side window.
