WELLSBURG — The Brooke County Historical Museum and Culture Center will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday, in conjunction with the Wellsburg Applefest, and will include a number of new acquisitions.

The museum, located at 704 Charles St., is where visitors will find many vendors during the annual festival throughout each of the three days.

Volunteers announced they have acquired a driving simulator and an answer board once used by students in Brooke High School’s driver education course — installed when the school opened in 1969.
