Amazon is running another Prime Big Deal Days sale on October 7th, and since competing retailers will probably get in on the action I expect we'll see some of the best laptop deals until Black Friday.

This year's October Prime sale is slated to last 48 hours, but I've been covering events like this for years and I can guarantee you that while Amazon's discounts will certainly peak during that timeframe, some of these deals will last for weeks.
