This week, BBC One was hit by a major technical blunder as Panorama's latest investigation was yanked from screens.

Viewers watching the Undercover in the Police episode on Wednesday night, which saw some officers bragging about violence, were baffled when they were suddenly greeted with an apology card for a technical glitch.

Halfway through presenter Emma Vardy examining undercover footage, the programme was taken over by a BBC Radio 3 advertisement.

A voiceover began declaring: "Bring calm to your afternoon and drift off to sleep, with music to unwind your mind. Radio 3 unwind."
