Sam Rezai scored twice to power Central Regional to an 8-1 victory over Donovan Catholic in a Shore Conference Tournament group stage contest in Bayville.

Dan Palheta and Landon Kavanagh notched a goal and an assist each, while Ilyias Ciltepe, Julian Lenovich, Greg Moody and Anthony Jiminez each scored once.

Kavanagh’s goal was his team-leading seventh of the season. Moody and Jiminez, both seniors, each scored their first varsity goals.

Central (5-4) forged a 5-0 halftime lead.

Donovan Catholic is 1-7.
