The iconic fountain of Dubai was brought back to life on Wednesday night with spectacular synchronized water and light displays set to music.

The fountain’s return follows five months of phase one of comprehensive renovation for the water jets while new lighting effects were introduced.

During the display, the shooting water level reaches 140 meters high in harmony with renowned foreign and Arabic songs. A water show featuring lighting effects dances to the rhythm and beat of the music.

Located between Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, the fountain has long been one of the most popular attractions for the millions of visitors who come to Dubai every year.

The restaurants and coffee shops surrounding the fountain are benefiting from the increased visitor numbers.
