An Indian woman has alleged that she and her friends faced blatant racism while trying to enter a nightclub in Canada.

In a video that Jennifer Smith shared on Instagram, she was seen lashing out at a security guard who apparently denied them entry into the club.

Smith, in the caption of her post, explained how her group had purchased “skip-the-line” tickets by paying double the usual price, but were still not allowed to enter the club by the security guard.

According to her, despite waiting for over an hour, they were repeatedly stopped while “non-Indians with the same tickets” were allowed inside.

In the video, Smith is seen confronting the guard, saying: “We paid to skip the line, and now you're not letting us in, just because of your ego.”
