Hibernian Women’s head coach Grant Scott described last night’s 1-1 draw with Glasgow City as a “good point” earned.

Eilidh Adams opened the scoring for the Hibernian Women after 20 minutes with a great first-time volley inside the box from a quality Rosie Livingstone cross. The lead didn’t last long however, as Katie Lockwood equalised for the visitors just 12 minutes later.

Glasgow City were reduced to ten players in the 85th minute, as the referee decided to send off Lana Golob for cynically bringing down Adams in a goalscoring opportunity for the Scotland international as she pushed to double her account for the evening.

Hibernian could not capitalise on the red card, as the two sides could not be separated by full-time.

“I think it was a reasonably good game,” Scott told Hibs TV.
