MORGANTOWN -- West Virginia's football team has struggled to get anything going in the first half of its games so far this season, especially on offense.
The Mountaineers' woes have become more and more apparent in the first 30 minutes, as they've scored 27 points before intermission in their first five games.
That's 5.4 points per game. In its last two games, WVU has only scored three points in the first half.
The ability to gain yards in the opening half has also been an issue, only totaling 246 yards in WVU's last two games.
