George Washington and Parkersburg's football teams are both playing with house money right now, as both teams are on a roll.

The Patriots enter Friday's contest against the Big Reds at Stadium Field having won their first five games of the season.

Parkersburg started off slow, losing its first two games, before winning its last three over Hurricane, Parkersburg South and Riverside.

George Washington has won the last five meetings with the Big Reds. Parkersburg's last win against the Patriots came in 2018.
