Guwahati: The Singapore Police Force has confirmed that the autopsy report and preliminary findings on the demise of Assam’s cultural icon, Zubeen Garg, have been handed over to the High Commission of India in Singapore.

According to media reports, the authorities have ruled out any foul play in the singer’s death. Garg was pulled out of the waters near St John’s Island on September 19 after falling unconscious while swimming. He was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him unalive, citing drowning as the cause of death.

In its statement, the Singapore Police also urged the public to refrain from sharing videos or images related to the incident, warning against the circulation of unverified content.
