Blue Ridge Power, an Asheville-based solar engineering and construction firm, will lay off 348 employees at its Fayetteville site and 169 in Asheville, according to a notice the company sent to the state in September.

According to a Sept. 18 Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act report with the North Carolina Department of Commerce, the company notified the state that it would implement a reduction in force by Nov. 18 at its 1682 Middle Loop Drive location in Fayetteville.
