The Panthers’ 6-foot, 190-pound junior running back earned the honor after being the team’s biggest yardage producer and a key performer on the go-ahead drive as Dudley (3-3) defeated city rival Page (3-2) 21-17 in its homecoming game.

Boone finished the night with 23 carries for 115 yards as Dudley earned its third straight victory and reached 2-0 in the Metro 6A/7A Conference.
