Philadelphia police are searching for a driver who fled the scene after a crash that left a home with major damage and another driver in critical condition.

The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. near the intersection of Oxford Avenue, Kenwyn Street and Horrocks Street in the city's Frankford neighborhood.

Our photographer on the scene showed a hole in the outer wall of the home.

Police said the driver of a Honda ran a stop sign and struck a silver Toyota. The collision sent the Honda into the side of the home at the end of Kenwyn Street.

The Honda driver then fled the scene on foot while the driver of the Toyota, a 31-year-old man, was taken to a hospital and listed in critical condition.

Homeowner Cheri Clayton said she had just exited her bathroom when she heard the sound of the crash
