The e-registration system has made the document registration process more transparent, secure, and convenient, and has been successfully implemented for the past five years. So far, a total of 31,785 documents have been registered under this system, informed Inspector General of Registration and Controller of Stamps, Ravindra Binawade.

He was speaking at a meeting held in Pune on e-registration and e-SBTR (Simplified, Secure Stamp Duty Payment system), organized by the Registration and Stamps Department.
