West Australia has been stiffed with the biggest price spike for a cup of coffee over the past year, but that hasn’t stopped locals from grabbing their quirky favourite cuppa.

Hey You’s study for the Daily Brew Report 2025 in collaboration with WestPac has revealed the nation’s caffeine addiction has gotten expensive — especially for WA.

The State recorded the biggest spike in coffee prices nationally, rising by a whopping 10.66 per cent in a year.

For a single coffee, sandgropers are spending an average of $4.95 per cup.
