On the latest episode of Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle, Twinkle Khanna delighted audiences with one of her trademark witty anecdotes, this time involving none other than the late Rishi Kapoor. The actress-turned-author recalled a funny yet bizarre misunderstanding that stemmed from one of Rishi Kapoor’s birthday tweets for her, a mix-up that even led some people to believe she was his “illegitimate daughter."

A Tweet That Sparked Confusion

Sharing the memory on the show, Twinkle said, “I almost became a Kapoor because of Alia’s father-in-law. On my birthday, he tweeted very generously, ‘Oh you know… when you were in your mother’s stomach, I serenaded her.’ So everybody thought that I was his illegitimate daughter. Then he got trolled and had to clarify, saying, ‘No, I am so sorry.’"
