Online shoppers are counting the cost after thieves broke into a post office and stole dozens of parcels.
The break-in happened in Coorparoo, Brisbane , in the early hours of September 17, Queensland Police Service (QPS) said.

Officers allege unknown offenders gained access to an Australia Post Licensed Office on Old Cleveland Rd shortly before 3am and stole 30 packages.
With the contents of stolen parcels often unknown, the break-in has sparked fresh concerns about what might have been taken, especially after 7NEWS revealed a Queensland Police gun was recently sent through the mail .
The latest incident also highlights the question of whether customers will be compensated by Australia Post for their losses.
