New Delhi: After getting ignored at the first round of ILT20 auction on Wednesday, former Indian player Ravichandran Ashwin has signed for the entire season of the upcoming Big Bash League (BBL), mentions a report in Cricbuzz . In what came as a big shock, none of the franchises showcased interest in the veteran Indian player at the first round of the league.

Following this, Ashwin, who had earlier signed up for a shorter stint which included just the league matches and playoffs and was expected to join BBL in the second half only, has extended his tenure and will now participate in the entire league. The BBL 2025 will start on December 14 and run till January 25, 2026.
