Santander is offering customers £240 cashback and £233 in interest - £473 in total - as part of an exciting new account. The high street bank has moved to launch its new Edge Explorer current account.

The account comes with added benefits, cashback and preferential linked savings. The Santander Edge Explorer current account includes worldwide family travel and mobile phone insurance, as well as 24/7 online GP access.

The account offers up to £20 cashback per month and up to £19.47 in interest a month - totally £473 across a 12-month span. For a £17 monthly fee, the Santander Edge Explorer current account offers customers worldwide family travel insurance (excluding Cuba) with winter sports cover.
