DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A beautiful Thursday is in store for all of us, but warmer and wetter conditions loom on the horizon.
We are starting off with temperatures in the 60s areawide with clear skies. Drier air is filtering in from the northeast thanks to high pressure over New England and a front that cleared our area Wednesday.
Highs Thursday afternoon will slowly warm up to the low to mid-80s. But, the main story will be the winds, which will top out between ten and 15 mph with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Our winds will continue to be elevated in this range through Saturday. Highs will remain in the mid-80s as lows remain in the mid-60s.
