Tru Fru Recalls Freeze-Dried Strawberries Over Metal Contamination

Tru Fru, LLC announced Sept. 26 that third-party manufacturer Georgia Nut Company issued a voluntary recall of multiple varieties of Tru Fru Freeze Dried products, which may be contaminated with metal. The recall was also shared by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration .

No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall. The company issued the recall after a consumer reached out about the subject.
